Reaction to the introduction of divorce law into Trinidad in 1931.

The attached scanned document illustrates the reaction of Trinidad’s population to the introduction of Divorce Law in the then colony.  Of note is the signed support of Haji Ruknudeen and subsequent withdrawal of his support protesting the law.  You can read the document easier if its downloaded and read with Adobe Reader.
