The Trinidad Guardian: Retired Trinidad and Tobago judge, Mustapha Ibrahim, has landed a lucrative contract with the Bahamas government to overhaul the criminal justice system. Ibrahim confirmed the appointment when T&T Guardian spoke with him yesterday. Because of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Ibrahim said his appointment had been deferred to September 28, when he would travel to the Bahamas to begin the tedious task of reforming the criminal laws in that country. Ibrahim, 74, said he received a call from the Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Ingram, when he was in St Lucia as a member of a three-member commission of enquiry, appointed to investigate a series of matters associated with the former St Lucia Labour Party government of Dr Kenny Anthony.
